QRL WEB — MULTI-QR

EXPERIMENTAL

Displays multiple QR codes simultaneously, multiplying effective bandwidth by the grid size. Requires the Python QRL client — the web receiver only processes one QR per frame.

CHUNK SIZE (BYTES) ?

Payload bytes per QR frame. Smaller = more reliable codes; larger = fewer total frames. 400–600 B suits most setups. Reduce if codes fail to scan.

FPS ?

Frames (sets of QRs) per second. Each frame sends numQR chunks simultaneously. 3–5 fps is reliable; higher only if the receiver keeps up.

ERROR CORRECTION ?

Reed-Solomon redundancy per QR. Higher levels recover more noise but shrink payload capacity. Use L in clean conditions; M–H for noisy captures.

QR SIZE PER CODE (PX) ?

Pixel size of each individual QR code. Total display width = size × columns. Reduce for larger grids so the overall display fits the screen.

QR GRID ?

Number of QR codes shown simultaneously. Rectangular grids (2 rows) fit widescreen monitors better than square grids. Reduce QR size per code for wider layouts. Requires the Python client.

FRAMES PER CHUNK ?

How many consecutive frames each batch is held before advancing. Increase if the receiver misses batches. ETA scales proportionally.

FOUNTAIN MODE ?

Recommended for multi-QR. Generates an infinite stream of unique XOR-coded packets — no manual replay needed. The receiver decodes from any sufficient subset.
